Moon Beams Tattoo & Piercing — Booking Policies Deposits A deposit is required at time of booking — no exceptions. Your deposit goes toward the total cost of your tattoo or piercing appointment. Your booking confirms agreement to this waiver. A separate consent form will be sent to you directly prior to your appointment — please complete it honestly. Design Process (Tattoos) You’ll receive a text from me within 48 hours of booking to discuss design ideas and inspiration. I’ll text a mock-up of your design within 3 to 5 days before your appointment. Please approve the design or request changes 3 to 5 days before your appointment. At Your Appointment Please bring a current driver’s license, government ID, or visa. Cancellation Policy Please give at least 5 days’ notice to reschedule or cancel a tattoo or piercing appointment. Canceling with less than 5 days’ notice, or no-call/no-shows, will result in forfeiture of your deposit. A new deposit is required to rebook. Thank you for valuing my time as I value yours! Touch-Up Policy Touch-up appointments must be booked through GlossGenius. Please give at least 5 days’ notice to reschedule or cancel — canceling with less notice, or a no-show, forfeits your free touch-up. If you forfeit your free touch-up but still want one, the cost is half the price of the original tattoo. Age & Consent Requirements • Tattoo clients must be 18 or older. • Earlobe piercings: any age, with parental permission and a parent present. • Piercings other than earlobes: 18+, or 14–17 with parental permission and a parent present. • No children allowed at tattoo sessions unless approved by Genevieve in advance. • No extra children under 14 allowed at piercing appointments. Health & Safety • Clients cannot be pregnant or nursing. • If you’ve used Accutane, please wait 6 months after discontinuing before booking — risk of excessive bleeding. • Please disclose any bloodborne illnesses (e.g., HIV, Hepatitis) ahead of time. • Please disclose if you’re on blood thinners or are diabetic. • Do not consume alcohol or THC prior to your appointment. Placement Areas I will not tattoo: inside mouths, inside of ear, insides of fingers, genitals or nearby areas, palms of hands, bottoms of feet. Areas I pierce: ears, nose, navel, eyebrows. I also offer tattoo cover-ups depending on style and placement. Aftercare You’ll receive an aftercare kit with instructions specific to your tattoo or piercing.
